Review of Under the Midnight Sun

Under the Midnight SunUnder the Midnight Sun by Vivian Arend

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This series is about werewolves!  This paperback contains the third and fourth stories in the Granite Lake Wolves series.

In the third book, Wolf Games, We meet Missy's sister Maggie. Maggie is not comfortable around other wolves. She has not allowed her wolf to surface for years and it is starting to cause her problems. Her and her friend Pam stop to relax before going to see Missy. While walking toward the pool, Maggie collapses. Lucky for her Erik is there and catches her. Lucky for him, he gets her scent and knows that he's finally found his mate! She fights her attraction because of her fear of other wolves.

While at the pack dinner, both Maggie and Erik get picked to be part of the team that the pack is sending to the werewolf games. She tries to get out of it but can't. Erik and Maggie get to spend a lot of time together and she slowly gets used to being near wolves. She has to get her wolf to come out and play and Erik is determined to help her.

You can't fight fate. They are mates. They will be together no matter what Erik has to do. He is so sweet! As soon as he convinces her to trust herself, things go much easier!

In book four, Wolf Tracks, Pam comes to the pack house for the wedding. She feels like Missy is hiding something and is determined to figure it out.

When T.J. meets Pam he knows that this very human woman is his mate. He doesn't know how he will convince her to be with him. The chemistry is undeniable. Pam is confused by the strong desire she feels for T.J..

They eventually come to an agreement. He has one week to prove to her that they are meant to be together. He has trouble figuring out how to do it. In the end fate has a way of working things out and they do get their happy ending!

Both books were good. They are your typical werewolf books. When a werewolf meets their mate they do whatever it takes to keep them. I would not say either book is the best I've ever read but they are enjoyable.

I'd love to know what you're thinking. Please leave a comment!
