My Thoughts:

Her is the second book in the Him series. Book one was titled Him.

I read both Him and Her. You could read either without reading the other.

I would suggest reading them both and in order. In Him, we see how they came to be in love and we see through Sarah's eyes what went wrong with their relationship. We also see them reconnect. :-)

There are a few spots in the books that are almost identical because it is essentially the same story just seen through the POV of two different people. It is worth wading through these parts to get to the parts that are unique to each book.

In Her, we get to see things through Will's eyes. We see what happened to him after they parted and what he's willing to do to be with her again. My favorite parts though are the last few chapters. They go beyond where Him leaves off. :-) Will makes an awesome book boyfriend. ;-)

In both Him & Her, you'll find a sweet romance, a fragile relationship, lies, misunderstandings, some heartbreak, new beginnings, some steam, and a bird's eye view at what can happen without open communication and how there truly are two sides to every story. :-)

These books have some sexual situations but are not written in a smutty way so those of you with milder tastes, will be fine reading these. ;-)

They both had a decent page length and flowed smoothly. I had no urge to take a break from either book at any time.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these books. If you like second chance romances, you should read these.

I received ecopies of both books in exchange for my honest opinion. I thought the books were pretty terrific other than the couple of parts that seemed to repeat. I sure hope Sawyer gets a book soon!

  1. Not really the kind of book i need right now but i really appreciate teh concept, it's often instructive to see both point of view and male point of view are not so frequent ( i'm a fan of curran point of view from the kate daniels series it make me laughs each time but then if we szee some scene from his pov that we saw in the book itself we also have a lot more we know what he was oing and thinking at other time which we don't knowx in the book it's not just a mirror on the same event and from what you told us in this case a lot of the book is similar zso i'm afraid i would get bothered a little)
